I’ve had a electric guitar for over a month and I only know a few songs. I’d like to know what were the first 5 songs you learned on electric guitar so I can know what songs would be good for me to learn. Thanks for your guys input.

That’s pretty hard to remember honestly

    I think:
    -Black dog by Led zeppelin
-Funk 49 by Joe Walsh (good one for a beginner)
-play that funky music (easy one, same 9 chords across about 6 frets i think)
-Another brick in the Wall pt.2 by Pink Floyd (a little tricky for a beginner but not too hard)
-Carry on wayward sun by kansas

Can’t remember anymore really, and none of those included solos btw Shawnywan

some really easy ones i learned:
    crazy train (intro)
    sunshine of your love (intro)
    the middle (intro)
down on the corner (full song)
    and dammit by blink-182 (intro)

those are easy, like very very easy lol Chris H

  3. Quinten says:

    Electric Funeral by Black Sabbath
    Enter Sandman by Metallica
    Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne
Come as you are by Nirvana
    Trust by Megadeth Quinten

One of the first things I did was pick up a load of Oasis guitar tabs. I’m not a huge fan of the band, but their songs are great for guitar beginners because they use mainly open chords and it will help you learn and improve your chord progressions. DaveUK
