i’m getting a guitar at christmas and have spent some time over friends practicing. I won’t deny it, even though they are quite quick, my fingers are insanely weak.
i know they will get stronger the more i play guitar but is there any other ways to help strengthen them?

It may sound strange, but something I did for basketball was crumpling up newspapers (or any paper for that matter) into a tight ball with one hand. If you do that for even 5 minutes it provides a pretty good workout. I’d imagine it would help with guitar as well. L_O

Search up finger spider guitar. Other than that, practice hammer-ons, pull-offs, chord positions and slides. lostsoul

  5. Kurt says:

Open your hands with your fingers straight and spread wide apart.
Clench your hand and make a fist.

Repeat as fast as possible for 3 minutes without stopping.

You can do this anywhere anytime, watching t.v., waiting for the bus, while walking, etc..

Aside from that, just keep playing and your fingers will strengthen. Kurt
