What is the best guitar hero controller to get for cheap?

The X-Plorer is an official guitar - it’s the one that was released with GH2.
All of the controllers are good and will work, but they have improved the mechanics with each one. If you plan on playing on expert, you might want the world tour version with the slider bar just because it will react better for hammer-ons etc, but if you’re just playing for fun on lower difficulties the X-plorer will be absolutely fine.
You can use any Xbox 360 guitar controller with any of the Guitar Hero games. There are some knock-off guitars out there, and although i have not personally used them, I’ve been told they work just as well. Wireless is obviously more expensive so go with wired to save some money, plus the wired actually work better. Go to Target or Wal-Mart and they have the official and knock-offs there together so u can see them, but the knock-ff will work just as well. Go get your guitar and keep rocking!!!
you should get the x-plorer..thats the one i got and its only $30 where i live(chicago)
