What is more important to get, a new guitar or a new amp?

I have been playing guitar for a couple of years now and I’m debating whether I should get a new guitar or amp to replace. My guitar is a Rocker RG-100, and my amp is a Dean Markley K 20X 15W. Which is more important to replace?

I dont know which ones worth more, but if you are getting tired of your guitar get a new one. If you think your amp could sound better get a new amp. Bobby
Great question. Think of it this way
If you didn’t have your crappy guitar, how useful would that amp, or any other be? You’ve been playing for a couple of years so both your skill and your ear for tone have improved.
I say, go for the guitar if you want to improve your playing.
However, if you’re trying to start doing shows and playing live, that 15 watt won’t cut it, so you’ll need an amp. Kurt
A new guitar will inspire your playing far more than an amp.
15 watts is plenty…I use a fender blonde blues junior..15 watts of tube power. (15 watts of tube power are louder than 15 watts of solid state) I do occasionally mike it thru the PA for larger venues.
Go for the guitar. Stan
