Mawk asked:

I want an ibanez, but let me know about other good brands. I want a guitar that is good for beginners, and for pros, that way later on i dont have to buy a new guitar. A guitar good for playing rock, hard rock, and metal. Price should be around 300.00$. And any good affordable amps (name price) Please and Thanks You.

    Fender strat is good.
Squire and Ibenez are cheaper but also good for beginners. ethorthehunter

My first Elect Was a Epiphone SG I bought it for $350. I would suggest a Fender Strat though they are a lot more comfortable and I like the tone a lot better. Jack White

If you want an Ibanez, go with the Ibanez.
The truth is, cheap fenders are not so good, Ibanez is definitely a better choice at that price range
