oufootballgeek asked:

I know nothing about guitars but I would like to learn how to play. What guitar would be good for a low price? (under $200 if possible) Ideally I’d like an accoustic that is different than the normal tan colered wood ones. But I’ll take anything really. Thanks for your answers!

Due to its versatility, portability, and the fact that it can be used to play almost any type of music, the guitar is one of the most popular instruments to learn how to play. Whether you’re interested in folk, country, rock, jazz, or any number of other musical styles, learning how to play the guitar can give you the ability to play and perform your favorite songs, or even write some of your own.

But just like any instrument (or anything worth learning for that matter), learning to play the guitar can take a good deal of patience, perseverance, and good old-fashioned practice. For those who stick with it, though, learning how to play the guitar can be an extremely rewarding experience and can provide endless hours of personal enjoyment. Dears

Don’t get suckered into an electric. Get a good acoustic to learn on. Get steel strings. The more you pay the easier it is to play, but $150 to $200 will get you a good acoustic. Perhaps Yamaha - talk to a big instrument dealer. Oldwhiteguy2earth

I played this guitar last week. I was at my local music store helping him unload guitars and these guitars came in. I figured them to be one of the better guitars on the truck, with the way they sound, felt, and played…but i never dreamed it would be under $200. This would be an awsome first guitar. No electronics but when your learning you don’t need em. John

    Yamaha?
Idk i started on a Martin but it was like $600
Start on an acoustic bc its more difficult so when you go to electric, it will be easy Maddy
