what good guitar can I get for 700 bucks?

$700 bucks will buy a pretty nice guitar. I would have to recommend an Ovation. You’ll get a full acoustic sound, but you’ll also have the option of using the preamp in case you ever decided you want to play through an amplifier. Some of the preamps also have an integrated mp3 recorder which allow you to record a backing track which you can then play a lead or second part over it. Really an interesting concept.
