Stinky Poop ♥ asked:

I want to learn to play the electric guitar, but I am not sure which one is good. I am looking for a good guitar for beginners that is $200 or less. I don’t want the walmart brand or anything like that. I’m thinking about the Squier Bullet that is $120, is that a good guitar?
Well, I want to play rock so I want a guitar that is good for that.
Is Dean Vendetta any good?

    Squiers are good for beginners.
In guitars, “good” is subjective. A good song could be recorded with the cheapest electric guitar, and nobody would notice. It’s all about what sound you’re looking for. Aron

I would recomend a Squier by Fender Stratocaster it’s perfact for beginners. It’s not exspensive and it is great to learn on. GuitarChick101

If you have access to Guitar Center, there are quite a few starter sets that include a Guitar, Amp, Picks, Strap, Cord, and sometimes extra strings.
I have seen these from Squier, Laguna, and Ibanez.
They usually run $200 to $250.

I actually owned a First Act (wal-mart brand) guitar, and it did its job just fine.
Just remember, with ANY brand, you get what you pay for. John D
