I have been playing the guitar for 2 years now and can play a handful of simple but good songs, but I don’t feel accomplished enough. I want to challenge myself more and need any helpful advice from other guitar players.
I feel stuck

  3. lostsoul says:

Try playing solos from really hard songs, look at classical pieces, build up your technique (bending, vibrato, slide, finger speed, etc.) musical theory, and repertoire (songs that you know how to play).

Practice everyday, even if it’s just a little. Move on to something new once you’ve mastered something.

    Remember ultimate-guitar.com lostsoul

Im a player of 7 years, and still to this day do not know all of the scales.

Not to mention the vast knowledge and amount of creativity that scales can bring to a persons arsenal is just sickening.

So I recommend scales, and things of that nature

heres a site that can get you started on that,

I still agree with the other answers tho, youtube lessons, and even watching covers, can help you to learn tons of new things. Kirk
