What kind of guitar effect is used in Fire it Up by Thousand Foot Krutch?
Zac asked:
Question is in the title, I’m wondering what type of guitar effect that is. It sounds almost electronic, like a phaser, but mixed with overdrive or distortion. For the most part, the guitar just sounds distorted, then on the palm muted verse and the transition after that sound awesome. Just wondering, I’m wanting to cover it.

How hard is the transition from classical guitar to electric?
lupus asked:
I am a classical guitar player, meaning i have never used picks before and i played songs that are hundreds of years old. I am roughly grade 5 standard and am thinking of of trying out something new so i was thinking of getting a new perspective with an electric. I don’t mind playing any kind of music but my main question is on the ease of the transition. Thanks for your help!

guitar?
veracity asked:
I bought a guitar because I’ve always wanted to learn and very dedicated to following this through. I can’t seem to understand the finger positioning or exactly how it all comes together. I have a book “idiots guide to playing guitar” but I’m wondering if i should take a couple “in person” lessons with a teacher. Has anyone actually learned on their own? How long until you got the hang of it? I’m not expecting a fast transition into being amazing, just some helpful thoughts. Is it too hard once you get the hang of it? Lessons?
