How much does the Guitar Pro software cost and will it help me learn to play guitar better?

Can you play fingerstyle guitar without long nails?

A lot of people say they had no problem flying with guitars but I’ve read somewhere that Delta has a strict policy of no-instruments. So how would I pack my acoustic guitar for checkin? What case should I put it in? I definitely know I have to wrap it but what other precautions do I have to follow?
