Is 16 too late to start learning the guitar?
explosiv111 asked:
I know most great musicians started learning early, way early. I’ve never really had any experience with a musical instrument. The closest thing I can think of is learning how to read sheet music in 6th grade chorus. What would be the best way to get into playing the guitar? I don’t have much money to work with ($300) but I found a friend who will teach me.
Cool. What’s a good, relatively inexpensive, beginner’s guitar? Should I start with acoustic or electric?

When I see a solo tabs, I can’t tell if its scale or arpeggios.. not too sure what riff is either.
Any help? Thanks
