what guitar should i buy either the Gibson Sg special or classic or the schecter stargazer?

I Play guitar, and I’m thinking about trying the banjo. Will it be harder for me to learn banjo?

Why is intermediate classical guitar so difficult to learn, why do I give up on fingerpicking?
