How do I get my new acoustic guitar in tune?
I bought an Ibanez acoustic guitar, brand new, and it won’t take a standard tune whatsoever. I realize that the strings need to stretch and etc. I’ve actually never had a new guitar so I was just wondering what are some good tips to break this sucker in so it’ll tune right! Any helpful pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!
How do I help prevent breaking my guitar strings while tuning?
I need to get drop c on my electric but EVERYTIME I try to follow directions, and get like, 4th string to sound like 5th fret of 5th string etc. I always break them! I want perfect sound but I have expensive good strings, But I do have a crappy guitar, could this be it?
Can an electric guitar not break from being deliberately slammed on the ground?
I don’t actually own a guitar or anything like that, but I”m curious.
Is there a way to modify a guitar, regardless of warranty, so it doesn’t break when deliberately smashing it on the ground, like internally reinforcing it with metal?
I don’t need to know anything to guard the strings. It’s the body’s condition that matters.
If it’s only something that can handle a one-time blow, the modifications should be repairable afterward.
When I mean smashing it, I mean only the sides hitting the ground.
What is the longest guitar solo performed by a guitarest in a major, well known band band?
Of course, the longest guitar solo ever could have been done by some unknown person just trying to break a record. I am wonder what the longest solo is by a guitarist in a well known, major band.
I once heard the guy from AC/DC play a solo that lasted for a long, long time. I think it was over 15 minutes!
What’s the longest that you know of?
