I’m looking into buying my first electric guitar soon, and I’m not sure what to get. Ever since I first started playing guitar, I’ve liked the classic Gibson Les Paul, but some of my friends told me that’s not the best idea for a first guitar. So what should I get? Also, what kind of amp should I get to go with it?

P.S. I really want a guitar with a whammy bar if that helps narrow the choices down any.

Is there a guitar that is a normal acoustic guitar when played without an amp, but when it’s plugged into an amp can play like an electric guitar? If there is such a thing whats the name and highest and lowest estimated price for it? Thanks so much guys.

I am just starting off I really have no prior experience with guitars except for just messing around with my friends. I plan on learning it and possibly starting a band. What would be a good one for me that will last for a while and is not too expensive. Maybe a set that comes with amp, guitar, case, strap, and a couple of picks would be nice. Basically I just need a good quality beginner guitar.

I know they used esp but which guitar and what that type of amp did they use? Also, does the sound depend on the setting you put your amp on or is it the type of guitar and so on?

I bought a wireless guitar system for $50 and it seems 100% perfect!
I walked down the street at my friend’s house and the thing kept playing. The sound quality is exactly the same as plugging directly into the amp with a cable. Am I missing something?
I guess what I meant to say is: What’s the difference between cheap and expensive systems?

I know that obviously you plug the transmitter into your guitar and like the Receiver in the amp but how do they work if you use foot switches. I know that the ampfoot switchh is alright because it is already connected to the amp but what about pedal boards and stuff what do you plug in to them.

When plugged in, what is the sound difference between an electric acoustic guitar and a normal electric guitar? Or is it entirely dependent on the amp?

I think i will bring it in to a shop, but i have a an upcoming gig i need to worry about. Mostly when i play live with my band my amp clicks randomly. I think it is only when either the guitar cable moves to much or i step on it. Multiple guitars and cables have had the same outcome. What is wrong with my amp?
