Will a electric guitar play well without a cord and all that?
Ben asked:
Is a electric guitar able to play without a cord and amp and all that other stuff? I may be planning on getting one. I am wondering if I will be able to carry it around with me outside, and play it every where I go, without a amp and all.

How much for a good bass guitar?
PolishPokeyPimp asked:
I am looking for a decent bass guitar, And I don’t already play, but I want to learn rock bass, and some of the bass lines in the older green day. The highest price that I can afford is 200. I have saved up 250, but I am spending that on an amp.

Can a shitty guitar sound good through a good amp?
Hood asked:
I have a 99$ Squier Fender with a Dimarzio X2N Humbucker installed on it, and a Line six Spider III 75. My rig sounds like shit and I’ve heard if I get a good amp my guitar would sound good through it anyways. Is this true?

How do you wire guitar effects pedals passively and not actively?
Alex asked:
My buddy gave me a couple of old pedals and told me to hook them up passively, does he mean to run it through the effects loop on the amp instead of in a series from the guitar? He said something about not wiring them in a series, but how else could you do it? He’s out of town so I can’t get a hold of him. I have heard of passive and active pickups and passive and active pedals but never of wiring them passive or active.

How can I connect my electric guitar to headphones via the amp and blend in Ipod music to the earphones?
stockpotato asked:
Nobody likes to hear me play electric guitar. But I can only play if I am playing along with a song I can hear. I used to play the music and play my guitar along with it. But now everyone wants to shut me down. So I am asking if there is a cheap way that I can blend in music from an Ipod or other source with the music I hear on the headphones from my amp.

I really want to learn to play the electric guitar, but I have no idea where to start?
GothicPwincessa asked:
I got an electric guitar for Christmas a few years ago, and a small Peavey amp. I have no idea where to start, and I can’t get lessons, so I’m planning on attempting to self teach myself.

What Beginner Electric Guitar Pack is Best?
☠Lucy☠ asked:
I want a beginner guitar pack under $300. I want it to include a guitar (duh), amp, a strap, some picks, and if u can find one a tuner would be nice, but if u can’t find 1 with a tuner that’s OK.

I would be nice if the guitar is a Epiphone or a Fender not some no name guitar.
What type of electric guitar and amp should I buy?
Andrew asked:
Hey, I’ve been playing a little bit of guitar here lately, and I have gotten pretty good. Problem is though, my amp is crap and it’s hard to play my guitar because it seems the strings are harder to press down than most other guitars I’ve played. What would be a good guitar and amp to get, preferably not too expensive. Thanks.
