In the game Rock Band is the bass guitar a different type of controller then the lead guitar?

there is a special bass guitar for Rock Band that will also work with both bass and lead: DUDEperson
No u dnt need a different controller they’re all the same, but if ur a bass player u can get a bass controller, they both work the same. The bass controller has a split bar where u strum cuz most bassists strum with two fingers… Riley
