Nooooooo! It would blow it out and break it. You need a bass amp. You can play guitar on a bass amp though batmanandrobinson

It maya blow the speaker so I wouldn’t try it. You could buy a cheap bass practice amp Richard

It wont only blow your speaker but it will mostlikly blow the amp itself guitar amps cant handle the low frequencies of the bass fimpron2

I have tried this and it is not a good idea. I had a very nice guitar amp and I blew it out. BUY A BASS AMP!!!! But for the long term if you play guitar and bass buy a keyboard amp it can handle the low and high frequencies of the two instruments. brk51

A guitar would work fine with a bass amp
But don’t use a bass with a guitar amp…You’ll blow that beast out quick. A guitar amp doesn’t have enough low end and can’t handle it. A bass amp acts like a subwoofer on a stereo. Spend a few dollars and get a one. I’ve seen some as low as $40 at guitar center. Glamourous Indie Rock & Roll
