I am a carpenter and i have made bass guitars before and this is my first guitar.
I suggest making a body shaped like a Gibson SG, either Ibanez’s, or a B.C. Rich Warlock because those are cool. I suggest going with your favorite color. Try to get a sunburst look with these colors. They amaze people. Make your own head stock shape to make it original. Also try to put the Zach Wylde EMG pickups on your guitar. It gives you a heavier rock sound. Good Luck
