How would I put designs on my electric guitar?

Stickers, decals and/or paint using templates.

find a friend that is good at painting, airburshing, and have them paint it for you.
My husband has several guitars - but one that he has played for over 25 years and is very special to him. He needed it repainted and took it to an auto body paint shop. Strongest seal/paint and consistent with what used at factory. They can also paint a design on the guitar or have the appropriate decals that would/could be used.
