For my Physical Sciene class we are learning about sound. For our homework we had to make an instrument and explain how it makes sound. I made a guitar out of a tissus box, rubber bands and a paper towel roll. How does it make sound?

i am unsure about which guitar you are looking for, but i have supplied information on an electric guitar, coz they ROK!!!

under the strings (where you pluck the strings) magnets pick up metal moving (vibrations) then the vibrations travel along the cord, into the amplifier and then you can hear it.
