How do you remove permanent marker from a guitar?

    try the magic eraser it should work..if not try goo be gone.

    a dry erase marker should do the trick without doing any damage to the finish

    there are a few other ideas here

    ~~Rubbing alcohol will remove permanent marker with no problem. I just can’t guarantee it wont harm the finish in the guitar.~~

    i’ve used nail polish remover (with acetone) to remove permanent marker from a timber cupboard. spot test first.

    also, don’t press the cotton ball down very hard, or leave it in one spot, sort of rub it over gently.
