Zac asked:

I have a toneport gx guitar port/program on my computer so i want to keep the guitar sound i have in my program instead of using and amp to record a video. So how do i shoot myself playing the song when the sound comes from the computer. Is there any way i can hook up the sound from my computer directly to my camera?
Thanks in advance

Since you didn’t tell us which camera you are using (manufacturer and model number) we have no way to know if the camera has any audio-in connection or capabilities.

    Possible work-around:
If the toneport gx guitar port/program can record what you are playing, then capture the audio there. Hopefully, it allows the audio to be save to a format your video editor can deal with.

Record your guitar playing with the camera. The camera will pick up whatever audio you and the guitar are making.

Import that video (and the audio) to your computer and video editing application.

Import the audio captured from the toneport gx guitar port/program to the video editor.

Sync the imported audio with the video. Mute the audio captured by the camera.
