I just bought adobe soundbooth. I’m recording a track for a party. I decided to record the guitar and vocals seperately. Problem is, i recorded the guitar already but i want to listen to that audio while recording the vocals. So how…?

Simply click enter to listen to what you’ve done so far. It might have to render so wait for it to render first, and then it should play. :)

Maybe you are on the right track (no pun intended), but here is what I recommend.

Google “Audacity and look for a download page. As long as you don’t get the Beta version, you should be okay. You’ll also want to find the LAME extension. No, the extension isn’t bad, it’s just the name of it. Threw me for a loop too.

Without the LAME extension, you’ll only be able to record .wav files, but with the extension, you can convert the .wav files to .mp3 or .ogg (voice recording).

Once you have done all that, check out the site This site is by far the best I’ve ever found for uploading my own musical recordings. The amount of space is unlimited and your account can be on there forever.

    What an example?
