Yasmeen M asked:

I just recently bought new Acoustic guitar strings. But when I opened the Package, I then realized that the Acoustic strings have the steel tips, and the little gauge thing at the end. On my classical guitar, there are 3 metal and 3 nylon (like most) but is it possible to have the newly-bought strings somewhat “altered” at my nearest music shop to suit my guitar need? OR could I do it myself?

I’m afraid you may have to buy another set of strings, specifically for classical guitars, as Acoustic strings may damage your guitar. It better to use the proper strings for your guitar.
    hope this helps!

Take them back to the store as they have sold you steel strings. any music store worth its reputation should have asked you what you needed.
