Robert asked:

I will be getting special cleaners and all that stuff for my guitar but for now i need a household way. Right now I’ve been using a swiffer cloth for the wood cleaning no fingerprints yet , but i want to maintain it very well.
I have a Epiphone SG 400 and I leave it in it’s hardshell guitar case whenever im not using it. I want to clean it after everytime i use it.
Can I use lens cleaner or something?
And what actual guitar cleaner / buffer should I buy?

Swiffer is good. Wipe down the strings. your finger gunk will cause them to rust. Every time you change the strings clean it then give it a light waxing with a product you buy at the music store.

All you need is Endust, because it has no waxy buildup, and a bit of lemon oil to apply to the bridge, and all metal parts your hand comes in contact with, but especially the bridge, in particular the bridge saddles where the strings rest.
