How do I build my own electric guitar?

if this is an interest you are serious about, try to aprentice with a local luthier! you may start out sweeping the floor, but eventually you will building axes like a pro! there’s good money in it as well!
I would start with a kit. That will help. Then maybe try one on your own. I built one from a tool maker called Grizzly. It plays real well. Check them out here
Thats some really cool ideas, but I don’t think that answers his question. I think he means like ‘what kind of wood do I need’, ‘approximatly how much it’ll cost’, ‘where to find the things that you’ll need’, etc. Things like that.
