it happens to everyone.
but be sure to put some lotion on afterwards finishing playing.
they need to get over that initial pain period but the tips of your fingers will get tougher soon. short of bleeding all over your guitar, i’d keep practicing. no pain no gain.
i was in that phase for a while.
i used to play so much at first my fingers used to bleed lol and then i couldnt play till they healed ha but that was at first, eventually your finger tips will develop calluses and it wont hurt anymore.
this just takes time.
every guitar player goes threw this phase
no worries, itll get better with the more and more you play
cheers!

you could get a guitar pic
I had that too at the beginning but there’s really not much you can do. Just try to practice daily for about half an hour and you’ll develop calluses pretty fast. After that it shouldn’t hurt too much any more. Just don’t torture yourself by playing too long at the beginning but don’t give up on it either. But taping your fingers up doesn’t really help because you’ll keep slipping of the strings and it’s just a weird feeling.
You could grow up…
it’s a good sign that you are practicing a good amount and the fingertips will get a tough skin like the bottom of your feet after a few weeks…or even a few days of serious playing…no way around it…you just keep playing…if they are very tender…take a break the rest of the day and night…the next mourning you should be fine and have a little bit of callouses started…even myself having played for over a decade have to redevelop my callouses after an extensive break of over a week or so…and they hurt like the dickens for the first 2 days of getting back into playing…so you’re not alone…we all go through it…there is nothing really you can do…maybe advil or aspirin…but the tricks we use are for when we are tearing the skin from playing too long…we use cyano-acrylate glue (superglue) on the very tips, we lose the sensitivity but it becomes much less pain-full to continue playing…
i know it hurts darling…just take a break till tomorrow…you’ll be fine when you get those callouses
Keep playing until your fingers develop a callous. You will get used to it. Don’t use lotion. You WANT your fingers to toughen up.
they will hurt untill they toughen up. what i used to do in order to keep being able to practice is duct tape the finger tips and trim them clean. also, you can have the guitar adjusted so the strings aren’t so far from the neck, therefore you wont have to push so hard to make the chord.
If you’re fingers are bleeding, you’re either pressing way too hard, or playing too much. Try to cut back on either one. Your fingers should be generally relaxed and not all tensed up and stuff.
