I would like to play jazz guitar but unfortunately there are no jazz guitar schools in my country. Can anyone tell me a good jazz guitar ebook? I know some basis for jazz (chord substitution and scales) but I really do not know how to put all this together to make that jazz sound:(! Please help me!!! Thanks to anyone who will answer my question!

  1. Playing jazz means finding a role model like Wes Montgomery, Charlie Byrd or Herb Ellis - whoever you admire. Listen to their records, go to YouTube and find videos. Also think about getting a real archtop jazz guitar like an Epiphone. You don’t need it to play jazz but it will help you get that authentic sound.

Take lessons and practice. Listen to music, all types of music. Even if it is a style of music you might not think you enjoy. Go out of your way to find new and unique music. But mostly practice, practice, practice.
