Does Guitar Center allow you to try out the products before you purchase them?

My little lunchbox amp is no longer working, and that also goes for the cable. So I’m planning on getting a Fender Super Champ XD and a Monster Cable. If I go to guitar center. Will they let me try out the Amp with the cable on my current guitar if I brought it there? I haven’t been there in a while, so I’m not sure.

Most likely they will let you play the amp you want to buy, but they prolly wont take the monster cable outside of the package because ofcourse its going to work…Bring your guitar, see if your amp is on display to try out…Guitar Center have alot of amps out for players to try out, if you dont see the amp you want, ask them can you try it. A representative will get the amp from the back for you to test it out ArchDuke Rizal
From experience, I know that Guitar Center lets you try out any guitar they have on display, any amplifier they have already out of the box (in fact, they’re all “in display” and “out of the box” because you’re supposed to try them out first), and any other type of equipment such as drums, keyboard, etc. as long as it’s ready to be used and not packaged or sealed somewhere. They encourage you to try before you buy, so if you see a guitar on the rack that you like, try it out. If there’s an amp in the store that looks nifty, go ahead and see how you like it. If you have a cable of your own to bring in and try out, I don’t see why they wouldn’t let you plug it in and play. The people there are inviting and friendly, so don’t worry. If you’re still not sure, go ahead and find the Guitar Center in your area online and call them up before you go. Tim
