What difference does the shape of the guitar make to the sound produced?
III Skin asked:
I am thinking of designing my own guitar but I’d like to know what difference the shape of the guitar in question makes in accordance to the sound produced.
Y2H… those sound different due to differences in size, not shape.
Although, the wood’s shape does make a difference.

Is it possible to record an electro-acoustic guitar into the computer and change the effects?

I was just wondering if it was possible to record my electro acoustic guitar into the computer, via USB etc And then use a peice of software to change it into an electric sounding guitar with distortion?

Also, what software is best to use to do this? The type of software I am looking for is something that I can record my vocals and guitar, then add drums and bass etc
But make my own drum beats and bass lines note for note.
Something professional, not free software.
Thank!
What shape should the inside of a guitar be to get maximum resonance?
mr. p asked:
If you were to make a makeshift guitar what shape would you make the inside cavity in order to get a nice, loud, full sound (would you use a rectangular box, a bowl, a can) or is there something better?
